Christian Yelich Honors the Legacy of Bob Uecker with Custom Bat Tribute
On Friday, during the Milwaukee Brewers’ spring picture media day, outfielder Christian Yelich paid a poignant tribute to the late Bob Uecker, the iconic broadcaster who left an everlasting mark on the team and beyond.

Anybody that’s spent any kind of time here knows how special Bob is."
The Custom Bat Tribute
To honor Uecker’s legacy, Yelich commissioned a custom bat for the media day. The bat featured a black finish with intricate laser engravings that paid homage to Uecker’s iconic phrases and memorable moments.
Among the engravings were Uecker’s signature catchphrases, "Get up, get out of here, gone!" and "Just a bit outside," as well as his famous "Uecker seats" located behind home plate at American Family Field.
