The second-to-last-placed team lost 0:3 (15:25, 18:25, 20:25) to the SWD powervolleys Düren in just 68 minutes, marking their 14th consecutive defeat.
The visitors’ success was largely attributed to Francois Huetz, who was named Most Valuable Player of the match. The home team managed to keep the second set competitive, staying within striking distance at 14:16, but the other two sets were dominated by the guests, who committed fewer errors in their attacks compared to Bitterfeld.
Lack of Firepower and Defensive Frailties Plague Bitterfeld

Huetz, in particular, proved to be a formidable presence at the net, both in attack and defense.
