Tomáš Hlavatý to Take Over as HB Ludwigsburg’s Head Coach
HB Ludwigsburg has secured a replacement for departing head coach Jakob Vestergaard (50). Effective next season, Tomáš Hlavatý (38) will take charge of the Ludwigsburg women’s handball team. Vestergaard returns to his native Denmark due to family reasons. Hlavatý has signed a contract until the summer of 2027, as announced by the German champions.

HB Ludwigsburg is one of the top women’s handball teams in Germany, having won the Bundesliga title in the 2021-22 season. The club is hoping that Hlavatý can continue their success and lead them to more trophies.
