Désertines, Allier, France – On Monday, a 14-year-old girl was critically injured in Désertines, Allier, France, after she jumped from the window of her college in front of several students.

Emergency Response and Victim’s Condition

Emergency services responded to the incident around noon after receiving reports of a person falling from a building. Paramedics from the Service Départemental d’Incendie et de Secours (Sdis) de l’Allier arrived to find the victim lying on the ground with multiple injuries.

The victim, who reportedly jumped from the first floor of the college, was described as "polytraumatized" and classified as an emergency. She was transported to the hospital in Montluçon and was later scheduled to be airlifted to the University Hospital in Clermont-Ferrand for further treatment.
