The tribes had to work together to pull a sled loaded with puzzle pieces, move heavy sandbags, haul the sled up a steep incline, and finally, solve a giant puzzle. The Lagi tribe once again demonstrated their strength and teamwork, finishing first and guaranteeing their immunity. Civa followed closely behind, narrowly securing second place and the final immunity.
This meant that the Vula tribe, having lost both immunity challenges, was forced to attend Tribal Council for the second time in a row.
Tribal Council Drama: A Blindside Vote
Heading into Tribal Council, the Vula tribe was in turmoil. Initially, Cedrek McFadden feared he would be the target due to his perceived poor performance in the challenges. However, the tide quickly turned, with attention shifting to Kevin Leung, who was seen by some as a strategic threat.
A majority alliance within the Vula tribe also hatched a plan to trick Sai Hughley into playing her immunity idol, effectively flushing it out of the game. However, in a surprising turn of events, Kevin Leung was ultimately blindsided by the majority alliance. Mary Zheng, having lost her vote, was unable to participate in the decision.
In the end, Kevin, a 34-year-old finance manager from California, became the second person voted off the island. This blindside vote sent a clear message to the remaining players: trust is a rare commodity in the game of Survivor.
