Rick Harrison Engaged for Fourth Time, Reflects on Past Marriages and Future Plans

Rick Harrison, the recognizable face of the hit reality show "Pawn Stars," is preparing to walk down the aisle once again, marking his fourth engagement. The news comes after a series of previous marriages, each ending in divorce. Harrison opened up about his relationship history and future hopes in an interview with Graham Bensinger on "In Depth with Graham Bensinger," offering insights into his perspective on love, marriage, and the importance of happiness over material wealth.

During the candid conversation, Harrison acknowledged his past marital experiences, emphasizing that he entered each marriage with the sincere belief that it would last forever. "Yes, I have been married three times and I just proposed again and I am happy…" he stated, reflecting a sense of optimism despite his history. He attributed the breakdowns of his previous marriages to trivial disputes and arguments, common pitfalls that many couples face. "Everybody gets wrapped up in the stupid s—," he explained, suggesting that focusing on minor issues can ultimately erode the foundation of a relationship.

With a touch of humor and hope, Harrison added, "Maybe fourth times a charm." His willingness to embrace marriage again speaks volumes about his belief in the potential for lasting love and companionship.

One of the more surprising aspects of Harrison’s relationship history is his apparent reluctance to sign prenuptial agreements. He addressed this topic in the interview, revealing his somewhat unconventional view on money and its significance in life. "Money is my third or fourth favorite thing in the world, but its not everything," Harrison stated, emphasizing that happiness and fulfillment are far more important than financial gain. He acknowledged that while money can provide comfort and security, it doesn’t guarantee contentment. "You can take half my money and I can still live like a king for the rest of my life," he quipped, highlighting his confidence and resourcefulness.

His comments suggest that he prioritizes trust and commitment over financial security in his relationships. However, when asked directly about a prenup for his upcoming marriage, Harrison remained somewhat ambiguous, responding with, "I dont know. Maybe. Who knows." This leaves the possibility open, indicating a potential shift in his approach to financial planning in marriage.

Harrison officially announced his engagement to Angie Polushkin on March 6, sharing a series of photos on Instagram capturing the romantic proposal. The pictures depict Harrison down on one knee, presenting the engagement ring to Polushkin while they were vacationing in Casablanca, Chile. The caption simply read, "She said yes!"

Harrison and Polushkin’s relationship began in early 2024. He publicly acknowledged their romance by sharing photos of the two celebrating his birthday in Las Vegas in March of that year. Details surrounding their relationship are relatively scarce, but it is known that Polushkin works as a nurse in Las Vegas, where "Pawn Stars" is filmed. The couple reportedly met six months prior to confirming their relationship to People magazine. Harrison mentioned that they recently celebrated Polushkin’s birthday together in Europe, indicating a blossoming relationship filled with travel and shared experiences.

The engagement news arrives five years after Harrison’s divorce from his third wife, Deanna Burditt, which was finalized in the summer of 2020. Harrison and Burditt were married in 2013 during a ceremony in Laguna Beach, California. After seven years of marriage, Harrison filed for divorce, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split. In court documents, he stated that their "tastes, mental dispositions, views, likes, and dislikes have become so divergent that they have become incompatible in marriage."

Prior to his marriage to Burditt, Harrison was married to Kim Harrison from 1982 to 1985, with whom he shares two sons, Adam and Corey. He was then married to Tracy Harrison from 1986 to 2011, and they have a son named Jake.

Looking ahead to his fourth marriage, Harrison shared his plans for making this relationship work, focusing on personal growth and self-improvement. When asked what he intends to do differently this time around, Harrison expressed his desire "to try and be a nice guy," adding that he will try to "pick up more." He acknowledged his tendency to be "scatter-brained," admitting that he often jumps from one thought to another. Despite these self-acknowledged flaws, Harrison emphasized his love for Polushkin and his genuine intentions. "I know Im in love and I know Im a nice guy. Ive been divorced three times. All the kids love me," he said, suggesting that he has learned valuable lessons from his past experiences.

While his comments about being a "nice guy" and "picking up more" may seem somewhat vague, they suggest a commitment to being more present, attentive, and supportive in his relationship. His acknowledgement of his scattered nature indicates a willingness to address his weaknesses and work towards becoming a better partner.

Beyond his personal life, Harrison has also been vocal about important social issues. Following the tragic death of his son, he has become an outspoken advocate for addressing the fentanyl crisis in the United States, criticizing politicians for their perceived inaction.

Rick Harrison’s journey through love and marriage has been a public one, filled with both joy and heartbreak. His willingness to open up about his experiences, both the successes and the failures, offers a glimpse into his personal growth and his enduring belief in the possibility of finding lasting happiness. As he embarks on his fourth marriage, Harrison carries with him the lessons of the past, armed with a renewed sense of hope and a commitment to making this relationship his best one yet.
