Despite the change in networks, NBA Commissioner Adam Silver has expressed confidence that at least two of the Inside the NBA stars, Charles Barkley and Kenny Smith, will continue to cover the NBA for years to come. Silver stated that the NBA would never lose Charles and Kenny, highlighting their value to the league and its fans.

Notably, the program "Inside the NBA" will be licensed to ESPN starting with the 2025-26 season. This ensures that all four prominent faces of the show will continue to work together, bringing their unique chemistry and commentary to a new platform.
