"For you to be in charge of the WHOLE country, you sure do have my name in your mouth a lot," she wrote, adding, "Every time you say my name, you’re reminding the world that you’re terrified of smart, bold Black women telling the truth and holding you accountable. This social media retort was not Crockett’s initial reaction to Trump’s interview. Prior to her X post, she addressed his comments during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel’s late-night talk show. In a display of defiance, Crockett stated that she would "absolutely" be willing to take a head-to-head IQ test against Trump.
