Pedestrian Struck by Car in Harrisonburg
HARRISONBURG, Va. (WHSV) – A pedestrian was struck by a car in Harrisonburg on Thursday evening.
According to the Harrisonburg Police Department, the incident occurred around 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of South Main Street and Reservoir Street.
Police said a 58-year-old woman was crossing the street when she was struck by a car driven by a 23-year-old man.
The woman was transported to Sentara RMH Medical Center with serious injuries.
The driver of the car was not injured.
Police are still investigating the crash.

According to the Harrisonburg Police Department, the incident occurred around 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of South Main Street and Reservoir Street.
Police said a 58-year-old woman was crossing the street when she was struck by a car driven by a 23-year-old man.
The woman was transported to Sentara RMH Medical Center, where she later died from her injuries.
The driver of the car was not injured.
Police are still investigating the crash.
