Disney Parks News: A Feast for the Senses and a Celebration of Magic

The Disney Parks are buzzing with activity, offering a diverse range of experiences for guests of all ages. From tantalizing culinary adventures to exciting entertainment offerings, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Let’s dive into the latest updates and highlights from Disneyland Resort and Disney California Adventure.

A Culinary Journey Through Disney California Adventure’s Food & Wine Festival

For those seeking a gastronomic adventure, the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival is an absolute must. This annual event showcases the Golden State’s diverse culinary scene, offering a wide array of delectable dishes and refreshing beverages. Guests can embark on a culinary journey, sampling everything from savory snacks to sweet treats, all while immersing themselves in the vibrant atmosphere of the festival.

The Food & Wine Festival features a variety of themed marketplaces, each offering unique and innovative creations. From artisanal cheeses and handcrafted wines to gourmet street food and decadent desserts, there’s something to satisfy every palate. Whether you’re a seasoned foodie or simply looking to indulge in some delicious treats, the Food & Wine Festival is an experience you won’t want to miss.

One standout treat that has captured the attention of park goers is the hazelnut chocolate filled Mickey Waffles. Available at Schmoozies in Disney California Adventure, these delectable waffles are the perfect way to start the day – or enjoy as a mid-afternoon treat. The warm, gooey hazelnut chocolate filling combined with the iconic Mickey Mouse shape makes them a truly irresistible snack.

For those seeking something a bit more substantial, the festival also offers a variety of heartier options. From savory sandwiches and flavorful tacos to comforting bowls of mac and cheese, there’s plenty to choose from. And of course, no Food & Wine Festival would be complete without a selection of refreshing beverages. From craft beers and local wines to inventive cocktails and non-alcoholic concoctions, there’s a drink to complement every dish.

Star Wars: Season of the Force Awakens at Disneyland

Prepare to journey to a galaxy far, far away as Star Wars: Season of the Force returns to Disneyland. This immersive event transports guests to the heart of the Star Wars universe, offering a range of exciting experiences and exclusive offerings. From thrilling attractions and captivating entertainment to unique merchandise and themed dining, Season of the Force is a must-do for Star Wars fans of all ages.

One of the highlights of Season of the Force is the opportunity to indulge in a variety of alien-inspired treats and drinks. Oga’s Cantina, a popular watering hole in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, will be adding new additions to its menu, including the Ne’tra gal Ale, a White Wampa Ale with apple cider and cherry purée, available in a souvenir Mythosaur Mug. The High Republic cocktail, featuring Patrón Silver Tequila and habanero-lime syrups, is another exciting addition.

Ronto Roasters will also be getting in on the action with new non-alcoholic drinks and a savory treat. The Fried Falumpaset Cheese Skewer, a K-dog inspired option covered in crispy potato with a mustard-cheese dipping sauce, will be available for a limited time. The Keshian Spiced Milk Tea, a refreshing non-alcoholic Milk tea with horchata jelly and caramel sugar crisp, will also be available for a limited time.

Tomorrowland’s Galactic Grill will offer even more weird and colorful drinks and savory Star Wars universe bites, including the Galactic Gyro Burger, Loaded Outpost Fries, Pistachio-Cherry Parfait, Passion Fruit Limeade, and Pi-Co Punch.

Artistic Expressions and Disney Celebrations

Beyond the culinary delights and Star Wars adventures, the Disney Parks are also celebrating art and creativity. WonderGround Gallery and Off the Page will be hosting artist signings, giving guests the opportunity to meet their favorite artists and purchase signed prints of their work. This is a fantastic opportunity to connect with the artistic community and add unique pieces to your Disney collection.

As Disneyland Resort prepares to celebrate its 70th anniversary, exciting new entertainment offerings are on the horizon. Disney California Adventure will be joining in the fun with a new version of World of Color. This updated nighttime water show will showcase recent Disney hits like Encanto, Turning Red, and Inside Out 2, as well as new classics like A Goofy Movie. The show will also feature a new rendition of the Muppets’ "Rainbow Connection" sung by Boyz II Men and will debut an original song, "Makes Me Wanna Move," performed by Fitz of Fitz and the Tantrums.

It’s a Small World Welcomes Coco

Adding to the immersive experiences at the parks, the beloved "It’s a Small World" attraction will soon feature characters from Pixar’s "Coco." Miguel and Dante will be added to the Mexico singing doll display, bringing the iconic ear worm to life. This addition is particularly exciting as it foreshadows the planned future Coco ride at Disney California Adventure.

Spring Break and Beyond

With spring break just around the corner, now is the perfect time to plan your visit to the Disney Parks. Whether you’re looking to indulge in culinary delights at the Food & Wine Festival, immerse yourself in the Star Wars universe at Season of the Force, or experience the magic of new entertainment offerings, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
