Khan’s vision for "Secret" extended beyond his own choreographic expertise. Recognising the importance of engaging with local culture, he partnered with Manal AlDowayan, a prominent Saudi artist known for her intricate sculptures and multimedia installations.
AlDowayan’s involvement in the project brought an authentic Saudi voice to the performance. Her set design, inspired by traditional Bedouin architecture, created a visually stunning backdrop for Khan’s dancers. The costumes, a collaboration between AlDowayan and Khan, fused traditional Saudi motifs with contemporary aesthetics, reflecting the blending of cultures that the performance embodied.
