Beyoncé, the iconic performer and multiple Grammy winner, is bringing her highly anticipated Cowboy Carter and Rodeo Chitlin Circuit Tour to Chicago’s Soldier Field for a trio of electrifying performances. The Windy City is set to be swept away by the Beyhive’s fervor as Queen Bey graces the stage on May 15, May 17, and May 18.

The tour, which has already been hailed as groundbreaking and revolutionary, kicked off at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on April 28. Beyoncé treated fans to a staggering 39-song setlist, showcasing her versatility and musical prowess across genres. Her five Los Angeles shows, which took place on April 28, May 1, May 4, May 7, and May 9, were not just concerts; they were meticulously crafted spectacles of fashion, musical innovation, and social commentary, most notably delving into country music and political themes.

The nine-city tour is a carefully curated journey through the United States and Europe, culminating in a grand finale in Las Vegas on July 26. Even before the tour began, Beyoncé had already etched her name in history, setting a record for the most performance dates by any artist at SoFi Stadium.

As Chicago prepares to welcome Beyoncé, here’s a comprehensive guide for fans heading to the shows at Soldier Field.

Location and Timing:

Soldier Field, a historic landmark located on Chicago’s Near South Side, will serve as the venue for Beyoncé’s performances. The stadium’s address is 1410 Special Olympics Drive. Doors are scheduled to open at 5 p.m. CT, with the show officially beginning at 7 p.m. CT. However, it’s worth noting that Beyoncé has been known to start her performances slightly later than the advertised time, so fans should factor that into their arrival plans.

Ticketing Information:

The Soldier Field box office, located across from Gate 10, will be open from 10 a.m. CT on each event day. This is where fans can pick up will-call tickets or purchase any remaining walk-up tickets. For those with floor tickets, the designated entrance is Gate 0, situated on the south end of the stadium.

Bag Policy:

To ensure the safety and security of all attendees, Soldier Field adheres to the NFL’s clear bag policy. Guests are permitted to bring bags that are clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC and do not exceed 12 inches in height, 6 inches in width, and 12 inches in depth. This includes clear backpacks, clear fanny packs, and clear cinch bags. It is important to note that any buckles, grommets, hardware, or décor that conceal any part of the bag are prohibited.

In addition to clear bags, fans can also bring one-gallon clear plastic freezer bags. However, the logo on these bags can only be displayed on one side. Small, non-clear bags that do not exceed 4.5 inches in height and 6.5 inches in width, with or without a handle or strap, are also allowed. Medical bags or kits are permitted but will be subject to inspection at the gate.

Parking and Transportation:

Parking lots for the concert will open at 3 p.m. CT. Fans are strongly encouraged to purchase parking in advance to save time and avoid potential delays. As of May 14, the price for parking was $60. However, parking at the Adler Planetarium was priced at $203. Additional parking spaces are available in the McCormick Place Lot B and C and the Grant Park South Garage.

For those utilizing ride-sharing services, the designated drop-off location is at the 18th Street turnaround, exiting west off the DuSable Lake Shore Drive ramp. The pick-up location is at the intersection of S. Columbus Drive and E. Balbo Drive.

Allowed and Prohibited Items:

Concertgoers are welcome to bring signs into the stadium to express their excitement and support for Beyoncé. However, any clothing or signage displaying offensive or vulgar language is strictly prohibited. Additionally, signs are not allowed to obstruct the view of other fans. Cameras with lenses that exceed 6 inches when fully extended are also not permitted. A comprehensive list of prohibited items is available for review to ensure a smooth entry into the stadium.
