Bei der Ausgabe im September vergangenen Jahres standen die Fantastischen Vier, die Chemnitzer Popband Tränen und der Hamburger Songwriter Olli Schulz auf der Bühne.
Im Januar hatte die Gemeindevertretung Gägelow beschlossen, dass die Organisatoren von «Jamel rockt den Förster» für die vierwöchige Nutzung von Gemeindeflächen künftig 70 Cent pro Quadratmeter zahlen müssen. Laut Festival-Gründerin Birgit Lohmeyer beläuft sich die Gebühr auf etwa 10.500 Euro. «Das werden wir so nicht hinnehmen», sagte Lohmeyer nach der Sitzung der Gemeindevertretung. Ob das Festival im August stattfindet, ist noch offen.
