Deutsche Bahn Pushes Forward with "Future Station" Modernization Program in Eastern Germany

Deutsche Bahn (DB), Germany’s national railway company, is intensifying its efforts to modernize train stations across the states of Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, and Thuringia under its ambitious "Zukunftsbahnhof" (Future Station) program. This year, the initiative aims to implement noticeable improvements at approximately 90 railway stations in the region. Kadatz acknowledged the problem, stating, "There are traffic stations where we really try to get vandalism under control." Deutsche Bahn is addressing this issue through a multi-pronged approach.
