Cuban Migrant Incident at ICE Facility Sparks Security Scare and Investigation
On Thursday morning, an incident involving a Cuban migrant at an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility in Miramar, Florida, led to a security scare and evacuation.
Initial Incident
At approximately 7:15 a.m., during a screening process, a Cuban migrant brought a white powdery substance into the ICE facility. A security guard reportedly came into contact with the substance and began experiencing symptoms of illness.

Medical Treatment
The security guard, who had developed neck pain, was transported to a local hospital on a stretcher. The Cuban migrant was also transported to the hospital as a precaution. Both individuals were treated and released.
