Bayonne’s Maxime Machenaud Suffers Hand Injury, Sidelined for Six Weeks
Maxime Machenaud, the experienced scrum-half for Bayonne, has sustained an injury that will keep him out of action for approximately six weeks.
During the team’s recent victory against UBB (36-32), Machenaud entered the game as a substitute but soon suffered a hand injury. Subsequent examination revealed a fracture of his right thumb’s metacarpal bone, requiring surgery on Wednesday.
