Royal Caribbean’s Icon Class Sets Sail for Europe with Legend of the Seas
Royal Caribbean International, the global leader in cruise vacations, is expanding its groundbreaking Icon Class fleet to Europe with the introduction of Legend of the Seas. Following the successful debuts of Icon of the Seas in the Caribbean and the upcoming launch of Star of the Seas, Legend will grace the European seas in 2026.
Exclusive Mediterranean Cruises from Barcelona
Legend of the Seas will embark on its maiden voyage from Barcelona, Spain, in July 2026. Guests will have the opportunity to explore the enchanting Western Mediterranean on seven-night cruises, visiting captivating destinations such as Marseille, France; Naples and Civitavecchia, Italy; and Palma de Mallorca, Spain.
Caribbean Adventures from Fort Lauderdale
After its summer adventures in Europe, Legend will set sail for the Caribbean in November 2026. From the bustling port of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, guests can embark on six-night Western Caribbean or eight-night Southern Caribbean itineraries. These tropical escapes will include stops at Oranjestad, Aruba; Falmouth, Jamaica; Willemstad, Curacao; and the line’s exclusive private island, Perfect Day at CocoCay.
Unique Enhancements Aboard Legend of the Seas
While Legend of the Seas will share the hallmark features of the Icon Class, it will also boast some exclusive "twists" to enhance the guest experience. These unique offerings will be unveiled at a later date, adding to the ship’s already impressive array of amenities.

Booking Information
Members of Royal Caribbean’s Crown & Anchor Society loyalty program can book their voyage on Legend of the Seas beginning on Wednesday. Reservations will open to the general public on Thursday.
