Ferrari Unveils 2025 Hypercar, Aiming for Endurance Title Glory
Ferrari, the two-time winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans (2023 and 2024), has unveiled its 2025 Hypercar as it continues its pursuit of a world title in the World Endurance Championship since its return to the discipline.
The Prancing Horse unveiled two eye-catching red cars, featuring a darker hue that "reinterprets the colors seen on Ferrari racing cars in past decades." The vibrant livery is designed to accentuate the sleek lines of the 499P’s bodywork.
Under the hood, the 2025 version remains largely unchanged from last season’s challenger. Ferrari has opted for continuity, retaining the same technical configuration introduced at the fifth round of the 2024 championship in Brazil. "The team has worked throughout the winter to optimize the technical package, both during authorized track testing sessions and in the simulator," explained the Italian squad regarding the hybrid-powered car.
Stability also prevails in the driver lineups, which remain identical to previous seasons: the Fuoco-Molina-Nielsen trio will take the wheel of the No. 50 car, while Pier Guidi, Calado, and Giovinazzi will inherit the No. 51 entry.
"The team will have even more experience this year than last season. I think we have particularly improved in terms of car control and handling, fine-tuned the setup of the 499P, and made progress in terms of overall performance. My wish is to fight for both the manufacturers’ and drivers’ world titles and try to repeat our win at Le Mans," said Antonio Fuoco, one of the No. 50 drivers who will be determined to deliver the prestigious marque its first world crown since 1972.
The championship kicks off on Friday, February 28th, in Qatar.
