Rosenheim, Germany – The investigation into a devastating fire at a residential and commercial building in Upper Bavaria has received over a dozen promising leads following the broadcast of the ZDF television program "Aktenzeichen XY… ungelöst" ("Cold Case Files").

The fire broke out around midnight on April 3, 2023, in a residential and commercial building in Bad Endorf, in the Rosenheim district. The windows of a café and another store in the building were smashed. Witnesses observed two individuals entering the building through the broken windows. It is believed that these unknown individuals set the fire.

Residents of the apartments above the ground floor were able to escape, but one person sustained minor injuries. The damage caused by the fire is estimated at approximately €1.5 million. The criminal police formed an investigative unit, but no suspects have yet been identified. A reward of €5,000 has been offered for information leading to the apprehension of the perpetrators.
